Complaining about waiting in line at the Secretary of State’s office has been a thing so long, Secretary of State Ruth Johnson actually did something about it. It’s called ExpressSOS, where you can go online and take care of lots of traditional business, from renewing your driver’s license and vehicle tabs to duplicate registrations and updating information. Problem is, not many people have known about it, or are using it. So someone (or a team) convinced Johnson to advertise the speedy service – using a kangaroo. Then they nicknamed her “KangaRuth.” No. It’s not a good idea. It’s actually painful. So use ExpressSOS, if only to put the kangaroo – and KangaRuth – out of their misery.
